Terms & Conditions All items are shipped unassembled unless otherwise noted. We ship via UPS, FedEx, or DHL when the product is within the limit for size and weight. We ship visa truck freight for larger assembled items. When items are sent truck freight, the carrier will call the day before delivery to arrange a time for someone to be available to receive the products. Please remember that if it is sent truck freight that the product is large, awkward to carry and heavy. You will need more than one person to unload. It is standard freight company policy to only get the product to the back of truck for liability reasons. They are not required under the terms of the shipping agreement to unload the product or carry it into your home. If the product is in stock, shipment usually takes 5 to 10 days depending on your location. Products that are not in stock take 6-8 weeks to arrive to our facility and be shipped to you. If we are informed of any delays we will notify you via email or phone. Always inspect your shipment immediately while the truck driver is still there. If the driver will not wait for you to inspect the product, make note of this on the freight bill. Do not sign the freight bill if the product is damaged. It will be sent back at no charge to you and we will replace it. Please call and report all delivery problems immediately. All sales are final and payment is required prior to the ordering of out-of-stock products and shipment of products. Items may be returned within 7 days of delivery of your product. Items must be in original purchase condition for a refund minus a 25% restocking fee. Please repackage the items as received and we will arrange for pick up. Return shipping charges are nonrefundable. If the product is defective, call us and the defective part will be replaced. The natural cracks found in our log furniture are not considered a defect and the warranty does not cover this natural drying process. Product abuse voids warranty. Whistle Stop Furniture accepts payments via PayPal (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Bank accounts), personal checks, money orders, and cashiers checks. We do not accept C.O.D. purchases or payment terms. If you choose to pay for your purchase via PayPal, you will receive an email with payment information. A PayPal account is not required for purchase. |
